FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ENOSERV to present the “PowerBase Module for Cascade” during Cascade User Group Conference
TULSA, Oklahoma-September 25th, 2006-PowerBase will be examined in 2 workshops during this year’s Cascade User Group Conference to be held at the Salishan at Gleneden Beach, Oregon, October 1-5, 2006. The workshops, entitled “PowerBase Module for Cascade,” will be presented by Ross Pinkstaff and Joe Stevenson from ENOSERV.
Shaped during the 4+ years of collaborative efforts between Digital Inspections and ENOSERV in providing an integrated solution for relay records within the Cascade CMMS system, the PowerBase module is an add-on feature that brings “it” all together: ”it” being critical relay data such as settings and test results. Prior to the collaboration, Cascade clients could see relay nameplate and work order information, but not relay settings. Since ENOSERV had marketed a relay settings database for years called PowerBase, the 2 companies agreed to market a new solution, one that combined the respective strengths of their 2 unique systems in a new way. That solution is now known as the PowerBase Module for Cascade.
ENOSERV will present how the PowerBase Module for Cascade moves relay data dynamically between disparate engineering software systems and how it makes that information available from within the Cascade application interface. Attendees will see an example of a completely integrated system, from the testing software used in the field to the engineering systems used in company headquarters. Overall, attendees will be introduced to how the PowerBase Module for Cascade automates relaying processes that were previously performed manually, at the expense of both time and accuracy.
