Relay Technician

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Tulsa based ENOSERV is recruiting for the position of a Relay Technician.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Graduate of an approved Relay Apprenticeship Program or equivalent.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS :
  • 5+ years relay technician experience in maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of distribution, transmission, and generation protective relaying.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and correct 1 line, 3 line, schematic and connection diagrams.
  • Ability to use relay testing equipment and software. Test and calibrate a variety of electromechanical and microprocessor relays.
  • Familiarity with modern test equipment .
  • Ability to test CT's, PT's and troubleshoot various substation equipment.
  • Possess computer skills to program relay settings and complete test forms.
  • Utilize relay testing program, asset management program as well as fluency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Perform tasks with little technical support for routine assignments.
  • Strong writing and speaking skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
  • 70% travel requirement. Primary territories: Oklahoma & Texas. Must relocate to Tulsa, OK or Lubbock, TX.
  • Ability to lift 60lbs.
  • Must have good driving record.
