POSITION DESCRIPTION
Maintain and support existing software applications
Test and debug new and existing program components
Communicate with customers to develop project requirements and definitions for enhancements and new functionality
Follow project timelines as they relate to programming and deadlines
Assist in Implementation and Training for customers
Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed
Write and maintain application documentation
Follow established Company software development guidelines and procedures
Assist sales and other departments as an application resource
Other duties as required on an as needed basis
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Must be comfortable working in a fluid environment as well as handling a variety of assignments
Must have knowledge and experience in the following programming environments and technologies:

Delphi
- Borland C++ Builder
- Microsoft .NET 4.0
- WPF
- Expression Blend
- ADO .NET Entity Framework
- Microsoft Sync Framework
Must have knowledge and experience with the following database systems: - Oracle
- Sybase
- MS Access
- SQL Server
Ability to process and format data from multiple sources including databases and files
Experience designing effective User Interfaces
Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications
Ability to learn and support new systems and applications
Knowledge of database design methods and support utilities
Knowledge of application development environments and related tools
Technical writing skills including product documentation and proposals
Effective Oral and Written communication skills, analytical ability and organizational skills
Ability to travel to provide onsite services
Ability to communicate and work with a team as well as efficiency in hitting deadlines
Experience in the Electrical Utility industry, especially protective relays, is a plus
Background Check and drug testing is required. Health insurance, vacation pay, and 401K match are part of compensation.
