What's New
The new PowerBase, version 6, is here. Following are details of the significant improvements:
Reports:
- Advanced reporting capabilities. Users can create list reports, comparison reports and RTS results trending reports. Also, users can query the database for specific settings and file attachments.
- Dashboard: Users now can see up to 6 custom reports whenever they login to PowerBase.
- Graphs: Trending and analysis graphs are featured in the comparison and RTS trending reports. Data can be displayed numerous different ways for researching results.
- Report Wizard: Easy-to-use report wizard allows any user to create a custom report. Custom reports can be added to the user’s dashboard, and can also be saved for others to use.
File Attachments:
- Files can now be uploaded to the PowerBase database as attachments either to equipment forms or specific settings sets, along with comments.
- The attachments can be launched from within PowerBase and will move to and from RTS.
File Search:
- Queries can be run to find files anywhere in the database.
Tabs:
- Equipment forms now have all the information in 1 window separated by tabs instead of scattered in multiple windows. Administrators can add tabs to forms as desired.
Unlimited Equipment Storage:
- Configuration tools are available for establishing equipment forms for any type of device.
- Select from pre-built CT, PT, Transformer and Circuit Breaker forms, or build any form desired.
Equipment Status Management:
- Device status can be set as active, historical or spare.
- Settings, test results and all other data stay with devices throughout their lifecycle.
Work Orders:
- A work assignment interface is now available for creating and managing maintenance projects.
Data Partitioning:
- Administrators can partition 1 installation of PowerBase into different groups in order to restrict personnel as desired from unauthorized access to restricted data.
Active Directory:
- PowerBase now integrates with active directory network security parameters.
